What is Speech Therapy?

Speech Pathologists work with people who have difficulties communicating due to any number of reasons. Some reasons include developmental delays, brain injury, stroke, learning disability, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, dementia and hearing loss.

At Your First Appointment

You will be asked to fill out a pre-screening questionnaire before being seen at your first appointment. The Speech Pathologist will analyse your answers and discuss treatment options to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Ongoing appointments will be scheduled so you are able to follow your treatment plan and make any adjustments as needed.
